It’s a battle of top 10 high school football teams Friday night in Cresco.
Visiting New Hampton enters the game at 4-0 and ranked sixth on this week’s Radio Iowa Class 2A poll. Crestwood is 3-1 and rated ninth as they get ready to host their Homecoming game. Kickoff between the Chickasaws and Cadets is at 7 p.m. and the matchup can be heard on 95.1 The Bull with broadcast time 6:30 p.m.
Fans attending the game can also help out a worthy cause.
Crestwood and the Howard-Winneshiek School District are hosting their second annual “Fill the Truck to Fight Cancer Playdoh/Lego Drive” with a goal to fill two trucks with donations for Mayo’s Child Life program. The fundraiser is in honor of Avril, the daughter of a 2002 Crestwood grad who has spent eight years of her life battling leukemia.
