Motorists traveling Highway 9 in the Manly area have been dealing with various road construction projects off and on over the course of the summer. And, activity continues into the fall.
Pete Hjelmstad with the Mason City District Office of the Iowa DOT notes that while one project west of Manly is now complete, a new bridge overlay project has begun just east of town.
Hjelmstad says the bridge overlay project at Beaver Creek should be wrapped up by mid-to-late October.
