North Iowa Golf Course Gets “Flagged” for Holiday Weekend

Other north Iowa golf courses might be “green with envy” after seeing the patriotic tribute being displayed by one golf course in Cerro Gordo County.

The Linn Grove Country Club in Rockwell has painted a large American flag in the fairway of its first hole in time for the July 4th weekend. Pictures and drone video of the patriotic painting can be seen on their Facebook page, which also notes that spots are still available for their two-person best shot Bloody Mary Open on Monday.
