Women’s Pro Tennis Exhibition Coming to Charles City 

A women’s professional exhibition tennis match will be played in north Iowa next month.

Quad Cities native Madison Keys, a 2017 U.S. Open finalist, currently ranked in the top 25 worldwide, will take part in a special event marking the 20th year of the All-Iowa Lawn Tennis Club near Charles City. Keys says she looks forward to playing an exhibition against another member of the Women’s Tennis Association at the unique court on July 15th

The All Iowa Lawn Tennis Club, located about five miles southwest of Charles City, is one of a handful of grass tennis court facilities in the United States.

Keys says she also wants to promote the game to get kids more interested in tennis.

The day before her exhibition near Charles City, Keys will host a junior tennis clinic and mental health panel at the Clear Lake Athletic & Wellness Center.
