Iowa Games Event at Charles City Whitewater A Go Despite Higher River Level

The Iowa Games event at Charles City Whitewater will go on Saturday despite the water level of the Cedar River being raised by heavy rains earlier in the week.

Piper Wall with the Iowa Games says they assessed the water levels Friday morning.

Wall says the fast river current should provide the setting for exciting competition.

Wall adds the down river racers will also be speedy on Saturday, with competition starting at 9 a.m.
