Northeast Iowa Man Wanted for Sexual Abuse of a Child

A northeast Iowa man is wanted for sexually abusing a child.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s  assistance in locating 45-year-old Matthew Nordrum of Clermont, who’s been charged with second-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony, following a two-week investigation. Nordrum allegedly sexually assaulted a child under the age of five while the child was at his home in Clermont.

The investigation also led to three other allegations that are currently under investigation for sexual assault and a nation-wide warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Fayette County Sheriff Marty Fisher is asking for the public to call your local authorities or the Fayette County Sheriff’s office at 563-422-6067 if you know Nordrum’s whereabouts.  Authorities believe the suspect could be in the Tri-state area.
