For the first time in three years, Charles City Schools will honor staff retirees with an in-person event.
Communications Director Justin DeVore says the pandemic halted activities recently, but they will recognize nine outgoing district employees this afternoon (05.11) with a Retirement Tea.
DeVore says Charles City students will provide the food and refreshments.
The reception for the retirees from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Charles City Public Library is open to the public.
