Vendor Fees Set for RAGBRAI in Charles City

Fees have been set for vendors looking to capitalize on an influx of upwards of 20,000 extra people that will come to Charles City during RAGBRAI’s overnight stop on July 28th.

That’s City Clerk Trudy O’Donnell giving the fee rundown as part of an ordinance approved Monday night by the City Council.

O’Donnell and City Administrator Steve Diers also noted that the vendor fees are lower than they were in 2017, the last time RAGBRAI came to ChuckTown. Still, O’Donnell said she hopes that one aspect of vendor fees will repeat itself..

O’Donnell added that vendor fees will apply to any business or organization conducting activities beyond their normal operations while looking to profit from RAGBRAI.
