RAGBRAI Pass-Through Town New Hampton Selects Theme, Logo

New Hampton, a pass-through town as RAGBRAI riders travel from Charles City on their way to West Union for the overnight stay on July 29th, has selected its theme and logo.

Mayor Bobby Schwickerath says the theme of and logo for “Life Is A Beautiful Ride” were made official during a RAGBRAI committee meeting Thursday morning. He says what’s not official yet is the route for the bikers to come into New Hampton.

New Hampton was a meeting town for RAGBRAI in 2017, and while being a pass-through town is a level down from that, Schwickerath says the logistics of preparing for some 15,000 bicyclists to roll through town takes a lot of work and a lot of volunteers.
