Applications are now being accepted for two $1,000 scholarships offered by the Charles City Rotary Club.
Rotary awards the scholarships each year to a pair of outstanding high school graduating seniors based on their scholastic, extra-curricular and community activities and accomplishments. This year the application field is being opened up to all graduating seniors from Charles City High School or Carrie Lane Alternative High School.
Applications are available from the high school guidance counselors office or by emailing mark@charlescitychamber.com. Completed applications must be turned back in by May 6, 2022.
Winners will be announced with the class awards prior to graduation and honored at the annual Rotary “Pass the Buck Night” in June.
