It’s ISU Extension and Outreach Week, which Floyd County Extension Director Leslie Millius says is being highlighted by giving thanks to their volunteers.
Millius says the volunteers help extension offices bring a variety of programs to adults and youth across the counties they serve in four different areas.
Millius says the high point of the year for extension offices is the presentations made by the 4-H Youth at the county fairs.
The public is invited to learn more about ISU Extension during an open house at the Floyd County Extension office in downtown Charles City Wednesday (04.20) from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
