The New Hampton Fire Department hosts its 44th Annual Firemen’s Dance this Saturday (04.09) night.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with a DJ’d dance from 8 p.m. to midnight at the New Hampton Country Club. There’s also a silent auction and door prizes. Chief Toby Schwickerath says proceeds from the $6 tickets will go towards the department’s purchase of a quick attack truck.
Scwhickerath adds that the quick attack truck will cost about $200,000.
Schwickerath says they’re always looking for more volunteer firefighters and their recruiting efforts include a YouTube video that has received almost 1,000 views. We have a link to the video in this story on our station website.
