Sen. Grassley to Make 3rd Northeast Stop on 99-County Tour

U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is scheduled to make his third northeast Iowa stop on his annual “99-County Tour” next week.

The Iowa Republican will hold a town meeting in Allamakee County on Monday, April 11, at the Robey Memorial Library in Waukon from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. The town meeting is open to the public.

Grassley says, “My annual 99 county meetings are one way I regularly keep in touch with Iowans to better represent them at the policymaking tables in Washington.”

This is Grassley’s 42nd year of holding meetings in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties, something he’s done  every year since he was first elected to the U.S. Senate.

Grassley kicked off his 99-county tour this year with his first stop in Fayette County at the Oelwein Public Library on January  17th. He held a Chickasaw County town meeting on January 27th at the Chickasaw Wellness Center in New Hampton.
