RAGBRAI Mason City Unveils Logo for July 27 Overnight Stop

RAGBRAI Mason City Monday revealed its official logo as they get ready to host the July 27th overnight stay on this year’s route.

The theme for this year’s RAGBRAI stop in Mason City is “Ride of the Century,” which signifies the challenge of the 100-mile ride from Emmetsburg to Mason City. The Day 4 route is the longest mileage day on the route this year and the first century day since 1985. The following day,  riders will make the shortest leg of RAGBRAI 2022 of about 48 miles from Mason City to Charles City for the overnight stay on July 28th.

RAGBRAI Mason City says the logo was designed by local resident Julie Kim, a 15-year RAGBRAI rider.

In describing the design,  officials said, “It features muted earth-tones inspired by Mason City’s famous Prairie School architecture and visual elements our community members are sure to recognize, like The Historic Park Inn and the downtown plaza light posts. Julie says the wavy lines represent the Winnebago River and the straight lines show progress and movement. The banners represent the finish line and the feeling of jubilation that comes with a JOB WELL DONE.
