North Iowa Teens Killed in Weekend Vehicle Rollover Crash

Two north Iowa teens were killed in a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Humboldt County.
The Iowa State Patrol said the crash happened shortly before 6:30 a.m. at 230th Street and Nevada Avenue east of Humboldt. The driver, 17-year-old Gavin Maines of Woolstock, lost control of the vehicle while going around a curve and it went into the ditch rolling several times.
Maines and a passenger, 18-year-old Madison Fraker of Algona, were ejected from the Chevy PK. Both died at the scene. Authorities say neither was wearing a seatbelt.
