Empty Bowls Saturday Benefit Charles City Arts Center, Messiah Food Pantry

Beautiful bowls and delicious soups highlight a fundraiser this weekend for the Charles City Arts Center.

Attendees at the annual “Empty Bowls” event can browse and purchase from a selection of over 100 unique, handmade ceramic bowls- all made and donated by local artists. Each bowl is $15, and comes with homemade soup and a side, served up by board members and volunteers at the Charles City Arts Center from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday.

 All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Messiah Food Pantry and the Charles City Arts Center. Bowls and food will be available on a first come, first served basis.
