Bidding for Floyd County Fair Spring Fling Auction Begins Friday (02.18)
Some 50 items are up for sale through the Floyd County Fair “Spring Fling” auction.
Board President Kelsey Uetz says the items will be sold during the event itself from 5 to 7 p.m. at the fairgrounds on Friday, February 25th, but bidding can be done through Facebook starting at 10 a.m. Friday (02.18).
Spring Fling tickets are $20 and include a ribeye or hamburger sandwich prepared by the Floyd County Cattlemen, plus sides. Meals can be dine-in or carryout.
Uetz says proceeds benefit improvements to the fairgrounds, which have continued to rebound from the tornado of 2019 and COVID-19 that prevented the general public from attending in 2020.
Uetz says they’d still welcome donations of more auction items and tickets are still available. More information is available on the Floyd County Fair Facebook page.
