The 51st Annual Snowfest runs Thursday through Sunday in the Cresco area.
Driftrunners Snowmobile Club President Zach Gooder, who’s grandfather was one of the group’s founding members, says the event features activities for the avid snowmobiler, the novice snowmobiler and the non-snowmobiler, especially this Saturday.
Gooder says Snowfest is a great example of how the Driftrunners, which manages about 250 trails in Howard and Winneshiek counties, showcases snowmobiling in the area while also helping stimulate the local economy.
Gooder adds that many of the club’s events also raise money for local charitable organizations.
