Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Charles City is showing its “IC Pride Pump” in efforts to raise money for a new playground.
Preschool Director Jody Osier invites the public to help display that pride at the pump.
Two cents from each gallon purchased at HyVee Gas pump six in Charles City will go towards the IC playground project, which Osier says will eventually end with a complete overhaul of the playground facilities.
Osier says school officials felt that replacing the playground seemed appropriate with the school recently celebrating its 125th anniversary.
