The following north Iowa fire departments will receive 2021 VFA grants: Alta Vista, Cresco, Denver, Frederika, Greene, Ionia, Lime Springs, Manly, McGregor, New Hampton, Nora Springs, Ossian, Ridgeway, Shell Rock, Stacyville, Waukon, and West Union.

The grants are made possible through Iowa DNR Forestry, in cooperation with US Forest Service – State and Private Forestry.
