Winter storage space is available once again at the Floyd County Fairgrounds, west of Charles City.
Fair Board President Kelsey Uetz says they had to suspend the winter storage service when buildings on the fairgrounds were ravaged by the 2019 tornado, but now they’re back in business.
With the tornado disrupting the 2019 fair and COVID limiting the scope of the fair in 2020, Uetz says not being able to offer winter storage was another financial hit for the fair. However, she says their road to recovery was helped by huge attendance in 2021.
