In Ionia, two City Council members will be elected from a pool of three candidates including Jayson Holthaus, Richard Crooks and Cole Denner.

There are two seats open for the Lawler City Council, but anyone filling those positions will have to be voted in via write-in ballots. No one officially filed papers to run for the seats.
