Charles City Man Pleads Guilty to Forging Checks

A Charles City man accused of forging multiple checks earlier this year is pleading guilty.

Law enforcement alleges 50-year Donald Fairholm forged someone else’s signature on checks at various Charles City businesses between February 3 and March 1. Court documents show the forged checks totaled over $1,000.

At the time of his arrest, Fairholm was charged with ongoing criminal conduct and forgery, but has entered a guilty plea to commission of specified unlawful activity and forgery.
