Charles City Library Eases More COVID Restrictions

The Charles City Public Library is back to their pre-pandemic hours of operation.

The library is now open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday. Director Anette Dean says those hours are still subject to change if Floyd County’s COVID positivity rates should rise dramatically again.

Dean says appointments are no longer required to visit the library and there are no capacity limits, but some COVID-related restrictions remain for use of the Zastrow public meeting room.
