The 14th Annual North Iowa Tractor Ride with Coloff Media stations 95.1 The Bull, 98.7 Kiss Country and 103.7 The Fox set off today (07.23) from Waukon.
79-year-old Donald Sapp of Mason City has participated in every previous ride and says he enjoys the comradery and the scenery.
Sapp commends the organization of the North Iowa Tractor Ride, but adds the communities the ride takes them to also help make the experience enjoyable.
This year’s route will make the ride its first tri-state event going from Waukon to a brief stop in Wisconsin before heading to Eitzen, Minnesota and back into Iowa over today (07.23) and tomorrow (07.24)
Sapp says he’ll be driving his 504 International in this year’s, but has also previously driven his 1953 Ford Golden Jubilee, which has been in his family since it was bought new when he was 11 years old.
