A Charles City man is facing a felony charge after his arrest this week for his involvement in a burglary just over two months ago.
In custody in the Floyd County Jail is 41-year-old Kelly Caster, charged with first-degree burglary involving a dangerous weapon, a Class B felony. Authorities say Caster went to a Charles City home and attacked someone, causing bodily injury. Court records show the victim was not the original person Caster targeted and he wielded a hatchet during the assault on April 27th.
Caster’s bond was set at $25,000 and could face up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
