Iowa Department of Public Health reveals vaccination count by county (click for Floyd, Chickasaw, Mitchell)

Slowly, the COVID vaccination numbers are appearing on the Iowa Department of Public Health website. According to the IDPH count, Iowans have received 96,686 doses of the vaccine. 

Let’s break this down on the county-by-county basis:

  • Floyd County has vaccinated 475 of their resident so far
  • Chickasaw County has vaccinated 361
  • Mitchell County is at 268

The IDPH website also breaks down these vaccination numbers by how many residents have completed the ‘vaccine series’ which means has taken both needed doses:

  • Floyd County has only had one resident finish the series
  • Chickasaw County has 5
  • Mitchell County has 4
