Charles City High School radio program to be available online Wednesday; broadcasted on KCHA Saturday

The postponed Charles City High School Drama Department ‘Old Tyme Radio Show’ is finally going to be available to the public. This week the department is tabbed to release the recorded version of the show on the district’s website tomorrow.

Then on Saturday, 95.9 KCHA will be broadcasting the show at 2 p.m. The show is about an hour and twenty minutes long and Director Michelle Grob hopes that the public consumes the show in both mediums – the video online and then in broadcast form on the radio this weekend.

The original shows were set to premiere on October 30th and 31st of this year – but were postponed due to COVID-19 positive cases among the cast and crew. All 3 directors and 5 actors all got the virus back in October.

25 actors will be performing 5 short comedy plays written by Eric Coble.
