Charles City man sentenced to probation for crimes involving gun

Charles City man Tristan M. Walker who was charged with hitting a woman in the head with a gun and causing injuries to her – has now been sentenced to probation and is going to spend time at a residential facility.
The 40 year old man pleaded guilty to a charge of second degree burglary, a count of going armed with intent, and a final count of willful injury causing bodily injury.
After pleading guilty, Walker was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the burglary.
That sentence was later suspended and Walker got 5 years probation. The judge also gave Walker 5 years probation for his other charges.
Back in August of 2018, Walker hit a woman many times on her head with his gun. This left a golf ball sized lump on her head.
