Former Charles City Comet offering free transportation to voters in need

A former Charles City Comet is getting media attention in Des Moines for his help in making sure everyone has the opportunity to vote in this upcoming election.

Ben Lynch, currently a lawyer in Des Moines and former Comet, has been giving people rides to the Polk County Auditor’s Office for the last couple of weeks so they can vote.

In an article written by WeAreIowa.com, Ben says it is his civic duty as a lawyer and counselor:

“I don’t want people not being able to get a ride to be the reason for somebody not voting.”

Lynch says he doesn’t care about political affiliation:

“I’m happy to transport you to the Polk County Auditor’s office and it doesn’t matter who you are voting for, you deserve to get representation.”

Everyday through election day Lynch will be giving people rides – if you are near the Polk County Auditor’s Office and need a ride, he asks you to go to his website and ask for one: https://benlynchlaw.com/.
