Osage Police Department charges two residents with burglary; urges locals to check cars, garages for missing items

The Osage Police Department has filed multiple felony charges on two Osage residents after a burglary investigation.

Both 26 year old Zebulon Rosendahl and 25 year old Amanada Smith are being charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and 3 counts of Burglary 3rd Degree. Both subjects are being held at the Mitchell County Jail – this investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.

The police department asks that residents check their garages, cars, or any other property for missing items. The police have found and seized numerous items from Rosendahl and Smith. With any questions regarding this case call 641-732-3777.

The police also ask that residents make sure to lock their doors, garages, and cars – with emphasis on reporting any suspicious activity.

The Osage Police Department was assisted in this investigation by Osage Residents, the Mitchell county Sheriff’s Office, and the Mason City Police Department.
