New Hampton FFA to sell their vineyard grapes at farmers market today

450 pounds of violet and plump grapes have been harvested by the New Hampton FFA students and are up for sale today. At the New Hampton Farmer’s Market (located at the CarQuest parking lot) the FFA vineyard team will be selling their hard-grown grapes from 4 to 6 p.m.

FFA teacher Mr. Russ says there are a lot to go around.

The grapes are going to be sold for 50 cents a pound and ever cent of the proceeds will be going directly back to the FFA’s vineyard. Mr. Russ says if anybody wants to see the actual vineyard that it is pretty accessible.

The New Hampton Farmers Market runs from mid-May to late-September every year and sells fresh produce, baked goods, honey, Iowa wines, and yogurt.
