Floyd County Conservation to offer monarch tagging, river float, and a hunter education course this fall

One huge advantage that the Floyd County Conservation team has is that they can plan tons of events and have an easy time making them socially distant – as ‘outside’ is long and wide. Conservationist Heidi Reams says the conservation center has a good amount of fall programs on deck.

On the short list for the center is monarch tagging, hunter education course, and a river float.

These again, will be relatively easy to keep socially distant.

Reams wants to remind the public that the center staff is still working on Facebook live videos that are released weekly – and encourages everybody to take a hike in the prairie park.
