Carrie Lane High School graduation to be held on Saturday

Another weekend, another graduation ceremony. The Carrie Lane High School is holding its commencement ceremony on Saturday, July 25th at 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the First Congregational Church in Charles City. The ceremony will be taking place in the parking lot of the church.

In attendance will be 2020 graduates, Carrie Lane High School staff, administration, and Charles City Community Schools Board Members – all who will be adequately social distanced.

A pod of 4 chairs will be reserved for specific graduates and their families. Anybody else who is interested in attending may do so as long as they bring their own chair and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

The ceremony will move into the church if the weather turns sour. And no reception will follow the event.
