In New Hampton there is a vibrant 7 year old girl who loves fishing, camping, and oddly – tow trucks. She loves when they are pink, she loves when they light up; and mostly Tatum Lechtenberg can’t wait to lay her eyes on a new one.
And that vibrant 7 year old girl has Acute B Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia – a disease that has caused her to withstand over 10 months of chemotherapy.
Tatum has family members who work at Zip’s in New Hampton and every time she is brought into the office, her spirits burst with color when met with an opportunity to see the tow trucks.
This is why Zip’s is putting on a fundraiser for Tatum called ‘Towing for Tatum’ on July 11th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tow trucks will be at the event – and all the t-shirt proceeds will go towards Tatum’s medical expenses – as well as 10% of Zip’s merchandise sales that day. Baked goods will be for sale made by Tatum.
