‘North Iowa Community Action Organization Cares Act Funding’ to help those who need rent, sewage, child care money

For those people who need rent, water/sewage, or child care money in this pandemic-ridden world and are below 200% of the federal poverty line, maybe the ‘North Iowa Community Action Organization Cares Act Funding’ can help. The funding is available for people living in 7 counties including Floyd and Mitchell. 

The maximum annual household income:

1 household member – $25,520

2 household members – $24,480

3 household members – $43,440

4 household members – $52,400

5 household members – $61,360

6 household members – $70,320

NICAO’s Cindy Davis says this funding will help a lot of people.


For those interested, one will need to apply by email, mail, or phone and supply proof of income and household member names and birth dates.
