Charles City Public Library announce summer reading programs

The Charles City Library summer reading program is back – but different. The program will be going virtual. And the theme will be ‘Imagine Your Story’.

Virtual Wacky Wednesday’s are programs uploaded to the library’s Facebook page starting June 3rd. The first program will be ‘Drawing with Tim Read’.

Every other Monday in the summer starting June 8th, the library asks children to come pick up a make and take bag from the lobby. The bags will contain crafts for the children to participate in. Then at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays, Miss Stacey will upload a ‘how-to’ video to the library Facebook page detailing how to do the craft.

For more information or to register for the free programs go to www.charles-city.lib.ia.us/.
