‘Floyd County COVID-19 Disaster Response Fund’ to help non-profit groups

This past week, the ‘Floyd County COVID-19 Disaster Response Fund’ was born. This fund was created to provide help to groups who are struggling due to the coronavirus pandemic – and groups who are supplying the area with general needs.

The team?

Supervisor Doug Kamm

Emergency Management Director Lezlie Weber

Auditor Gloria Carr

Groups interested should apply through the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa (CFNEIA). If it is deemed as a ‘legitimate need’ in the county, then the request will be granted.

The Floyd County Foundation is starting off the fund at $5,000 and anybody can donate to enhance it by going to or by calling 319-287-9106.
