Charles City, IA – While the state is bracing for the worst week yet for COVID-19, North Iowa Air Service in Charles City and Mason City is still operating at almost full-speed.
Bill Kyle said that while North Iowa Air Service is still offering charter services, they are taking it very
cautiously. However, the shops remain open.
North Iowa Air Service is considered an essential service, but a few changes have been made during the
pandemic. Kyle said while managers have started working from home, flight training does continue, with
extra screening of the students.
Kyle said the mechanics have been busy maintaining the airplanes, while practicing social-distancing.
