Football, along with the world, is under house arrest. That doesn’t mean new seeds aren’t being planted in the turf every single day.
As of April 7th, former Rockford High School Head Coach Torian Wolf is the new Osage football shotcaller.
Osage Superintendent Barb Schwamman weighs in:
Rockford High School plays 8 on 8 football and Wolf instantly infused new energy into the system – immediately leading the team to an 11-2 record and runner-up state honors in 2018.
He was dubbed ‘Regional Coach of the Year’.
But his family has lived in Osage for sometime now, so when the opportunity presented itself to stay close to home, he lapped it up.
Wolf said this about being hired:
“My experience living in Osage and competing against them for the past four years has shown me the pride that the school and community have for its student-athletes. My goal is to generate a football program that not only performs at a high level on the field but is one that the community can be proud of.”
