Charles City Public Library closed until March 23rd; programs cancelled through March 30th

The closings keep coming – as the Charles City Public Library is now officially shut down until March 23rd. Staff will be available to answer calls, phones, email, and fill material requests from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through the rest of the week.

A release from the Charles City Public Library Facebook page reads: “Material requests should be placed via phone or through our on-line catalog. We will not accept material requests face to face. All material due dates will be extended. No fines will be charged. Please keep your materials that you have out until after the schools re-open. Thank you.”

Also all programs for the library are cancelled or postponed through March 30th.
