The survey is in! Charles City students want more pizza and crispito days at school – but also – they want less of them too. Easy to say, the conflicting results from Taher Food Service Director Jenna Brumm’s school lunch survey didn’t shed light on a ton of things.
One piece of the survey is evident: students are yearning for strawberry milk.
This pink and fruity alternative to white and chocolate, received overwhelming support – getting 10-plus nods in many of the question categories.
As kids often do, they also indicated to the school they would like more sweet-tooth options such as cake, brownies, and cupcakes. This will be a hard-ask, as most of these items are hindered by the health code of the school’s lunch program.
