Osage school to host Top of Iowa Conference Wrestling Tournament this weekend

It is finally time to use the new $13 million Osage school facilities to their full capacity. This weekend, Osage will be hosting the Top of Iowa Conference Wrestling Tournament. The conference includes teams like St. Ansgar, West Fork, Forest City, Eagle Grove, and 14 others. Barb Schwamman says the renovations to the gym and school made this event possible. The school will be holding 17 complete wrestling teams.

Schwamman says with the renovation, Osage is one of the only schools in the conference with the size to host such a large event. The two gyms have room to host 6 matches at a time.

Schwamman admits parking might get dicey and encourages families to arrive early to the event to avoid a pile-up.
