Osage FFA securing funding for greenhouse

Osage Community Schools just spent $13 million on massively improving their campuses. From new offices, to a new gym, to a new cafeteria – the utility of the schools has skyrocketed. But, it became apparent to the school that their FFA program needed an upgrade of their own – a greenhouse. Superintendent Barb Schwamman says the actualization of this project is important for the FFA program.

This greenhouse is going to cost the school $150,000 to build – and the program is currently scouting for fundraising in and around the area. Schwamman encourages anyone to donate and help make the project possible. When the project is funded, Schwamman expects the greenhouse to be built by fall.
