Charles City considered an ‘Under-the-Radar Iowa Town’ in recent travel story

Apparently, Charles City is an ‘Under-the-Radar Iowa Town’ that one should visit. According to, Chuck Town is number 8 of these types of places and is where, “Adventure and history collide,” –  and only found 35 short minutes south of southern Minnesota’s I-90. 

The article highlights the city’s Whitewater Course and the rich and broad history that comes along with the Floyd County Historical Museum. 

Recommendations include eating at The Pub on the Cedar and staying at the Red Cedar Lodge while in town.
