Riceville schools Lego League kicks off

Lego League is a STEM program that children aged 9 through 16 can participate in, to internalize school concepts into real-life situations. It combines lego blocks and robotics to solve tasks judged by officials. Riceville community schools have been involved in Lego League for many years and their efforts have even propelled them into state competitions.

Superintendent Barb Schwamman assures Lego League isn’t just playing with legos – it is engineering robots to accomplish a specific mission.
