Charles City police department hires new officer

With the departure of a police officer this last month, the Charles City police department was bound to score a fresh enforcer. They did just that by hiring and swearing in 26 year-old, Jordan smith.

Smith is originally from Illinois and is yet to attend any required police academy. Police Chief Hugh Anderson says Smith will be participating in training in early 2020.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith are currently on the prowl for a house and for inclusion in CC.
