Car accident near Rudd results in a 9-year-old death

The Globe Gazette reports that a two car collision occurred just north of Rudd on Saturday, causing the death of a 9-year-old child and injures to 4 other people. 

The driver, Jesse Blade drove through a stop sign at an intersection on Rudd Park Road and Glass Avenue, near Rudd during the early morning on Saturday. Blade’s car T-boned Ronald Fisher’s vehicle, and on-impact, killed 9-year-old Royce Fisher. 

Other injuries included both Blade and Fisher, 50 y/o Sarah Fisher, and 11 y/o Aidyn Kline.

The accident remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
