Spooky month crescendos on Halloween in most cities, but in Charles City, Thursday October 24th is just as epic. Thursday starting at 5:30 pm and ending at 7 pm, the Community Revitalization will be holding the annual Spook Walk event. Mayor Dean Andrews expects a ton of kids to be dressed to the nines.

Andrews also predicts not only Charles City kids participating in the fun.

The theme of this years event is ‘Superheroes’ and will be held on the recreation trail behind the Charles City Public Library. Andrews explains the inception of the event and credits Amy Kloberdanz with the execution.

At the time of the event, Weather.com says Charles City has a 2% chance of rain as of Tuesday. If the event ends up raining out, it will be pushed to Monday October 28th.
