Charles City, Iowa – The partnership with Charles City’s The Learning Center and the school district is growing – and it’s more than the two organizations sharing building space.
The school board approved a memorandum of understanding Monday night outlining the relationship.
Superintendent Mike Fisher says the partnership supplements the school’s “birth to career” idea.
Discussions have been ongoing since April between both groups on when TLC joins the district at the 500 N. Grand Building and a memorandum of understanding is one step closer.
Other example Fisher explained is TLC has an extended day program for child care for families.
